As an Associate at French, Grace brings energy and focus to K-12 educational projects, guiding the design process and ensuring seamless coordination among consultants and project teams. She plays a key role in balancing day-to-day project needs with the broader goals of the design team, often serving as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. This hands-on involvement allows her to build strong relationships, strengthen communication across disciplines, and support the successful delivery of each project.
Grace earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in 2024 and is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture at the same institution. Her academic training is complemented by professional experience that spans both industrial and educational sectors. During her internships, she worked with SSOE on large-scale automotive projects, specifically in battery manufacturing facilities, and with French on documenting existing conditions for educational buildings. These early opportunities gave her a broad perspective on the different ways architecture influences how spaces are built, adapted, and experienced.
Her recent work at French includes projects for New Haven Community Schools, where she has contributed to facility upgrades, new construction, and renovations that address the district’s evolving needs. From school re-openings to athletic field improvements, Grace has been actively engaged in creating environments that support both learning and community use. She is especially passionate about the impact of design on the everyday experiences of students, staff, and visitors, and is committed to delivering thoughtful solutions that make a lasting difference.
