Architectural Design, How to add detail to a wall section quickly.

Step 1.
After you have drawn your section mark and have activated the section view pick the Annotation Tab at the top of the screen. Once you have choosen the Annotation Tab pick the small arrow below the Component option in the Detail Panel.
Step 2.
Once you have picked the Detail Component button a new tab will appear at the top of the screen titled Place Detail Compoenet. You will most likely need to load the detail components you require. To do this pick the Load Family button to the far right. This is no different than the steps required to load a normal component into your model (toilets,furniture, etc...). Once you have picked the Load Family button a window will appear that will automatically direct you to the Imperial Library .
Step 3
Once the Imperial Library window appears you will want to pick the folder labeled Detail Components. Once inside the Detail Components folder, components (or blocks) you will need (i.e. Metal Roof Deck Sections or Window Mullion Frame Sections) are arranged by Specifiaction Section Divisions. After you have found your desired component click on the Open button at the bottom right of the Load Family window. The Detail Component will now become visable in your wall section and you will be able to move it as you like. Many of the Detail Components are editable (general sizes) by picking the component then selecting the Element Properties button much the same way you would edit a wall or door.
